There are ten levels of this challenge with a minimum age for each level.

Each Discover a Challenge Badge has four sections: Physical, People, Practical and Self. The syllabus for each of these badges can be found in the age appropriate Guide Handbook. This badge is to be worn on the front of the sash, with only the highest earnt challenge badge worn.
